Why Is My Tumble Dryer Not Drying Clothes?
A dryer can produce some heat and still dry poorly. Possible causes include insufficient heat, restricted airflow, an overloaded drum, a sensor problem, a heating fault, a cycle or control problem or another dryer fault.

Possible Causes of Poor Drying
Possible causes include the following. Warm air does not prove the dryer is drying as it should.

Heat Without Proper Drying
Moisture has to leave the drum through airflow, a condenser path or another designed exhaust route. If that path is restricted, clothes can stay damp even when the dryer feels warm.
Moisture sensors can also end a cycle before the load is dry. That is a different fault pattern from a completely cold dryer.
What Can You Safely Check First?
Do not overload the drum. A packed load dries slowly even when the appliance is working.
Clean the accessible lint filter if your model has one. Do not dismantle internal ducting, condensers or heating parts.
How Poor Drying Is Diagnosed
A technician can inspect heat performance, airflow, loading conditions, moisture sensing and whether the selected cycle is completing as designed.
The repair recommendation follows that inspection. Extra drying time on its own does not identify the failed part.
